School of De-Stink-tion

Just imagine how I felt when I realized that we lived within the boundaries of the best neighborhood schools in Yakima. A few years ago they won the coveted school of distinction award.

I was thrilled. I just knew there was hope for my energetic destroying angel. She was going to learn so much and grow to be smart at this higher institution for learning.

Then I saw this sign in front of the school on the first day of class:


It's good to not only know that Coke sponsors our school, but that we understand the power of apostrophes at Nob Hill Elementary, School of De-stink-tion.

Funny, and sad at the same time. So I sent the photo in to the Yakima Herald earlier today. I doubt they'll publish it, but what the heck.
